Network Technician
Job Description
The right candidate will provide exemplary on site support for various clients, assist with the management of server and storage technologies, and can monitor IT systems and apply upgrades and patches as required:
  • Administer, maintain and optimize network hardware and software.
  • Understand business requirements and recommend technical solutions to meet and improve business needs for clients based on their needs.
  • Ensure prompt and efficient communication with users and team members.
  • Co-ordinate with vendors and technicians when outside assistance is required.
  • Administer user accounts (active directory, exchange, SQL), and user permissions on various corporate networks.
  • Manage and update workstation software using industry and MS best practices.

    The successful candidate will also provide individual and/or group training on technology to clients, configure, upgrade, setup, and install computer hardware, software, and other equipment such as UPS, ADSL/Cable modems, and Ethernet cabling, switches. They must also be able to manage all problems to resolution, communicate resolution status to user and document solutions to problems, and should be available to be on call for mission critical IT services and regular after-hours maintenance.
Minimum Qualification
Certified in Windows and CISCO
